Dental Extractions

Our primary goal is to save teeth whenever possible.  In some cases the tooth can not be retained due to excessive decay or fracture.  In this case we will go over all options to replace the tooth if desired.  We make the procedure as comfortable as possible and explain the process before the treatment is started.

If you have any questions regarding the possible need for extraction please call today.

Options To Replace Teeth

Please call for further information regarding options to replace teeth.

Leave the space

Leaving the space is always the option.  Concerns of leaving the space include potential shifting of the teeth and compromised esthetics.

dental bridge

Dental bridges create a link between two or more natural teeth to fill in an empty space without the need of a dental implant.  These are fixed in place unlike partial dentures.

flipper

Flippers are similar to partials, however this appliance is entirely acrylic.  This appliance is used mainly as a temporary solution for the front teeth.

partial denture

Partial dentures can replace multiple teeth with a single appliance.  These are not fixed and can be removed by the patient.

Dental implant

Dental implants are a wonderful solution for the loss of single or multiple teeth.  Unlike bridges, implants can replace teeth without the need for preparation of neighboring teeth.

essix retainer

Essix retainers are clear trays with one or more teeth imbedded into the tray.  These can help with esthetics and hold space until a more definitive treatment can be completed.
